Head Bakery Chef

Job Summary:


As the Head Bakery Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the bakery operations, including production, menu development, and staff management.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the bakery team to deliver exceptional products and service.


Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Development:


  • Develop and update bakery menus, including a variety of bread, pastry, and dessert items, based on seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and market trends.
  • Create new recipes, formulations, and baking techniques to innovate and differentiate the bakery's offerings.
  • Collaborate with management and culinary team to ensure menu consistency, quality, and profitability.

Production Management:


  • Oversee all aspects of bakery production, including ingredient preparation, dough making, baking, and finishing.
  • Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and ordering to meet demand while minimizing waste and maintaining freshness.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and temperature controls.

Staff Training and Development:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants, to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance skills, productivity, and morale.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning.

Quality Control and Assurance:


  • Conduct regular quality checks and tastings to assess product consistency, appearance, and flavor.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols, standard operating procedures, and corrective actions to address deficiencies and maintain high standards.
  • Solicit feedback from customers and staff to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:


  • Interact with customers to understand their preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through exceptional product quality and service.

Pay:
₹20, ₹75,000.00 per month
