Job Responsiblities:


As finance representative and part of Factory Operating Committee (FOC) in the plant, FBP is supposed to work closely with the Manufacturing team and is responsible for following activities:

  • Rolling forecast and prepare Manufacturing Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for next year in line with given guidelines from local Leadership Team and Region Office and its upload in Hyperion.
  • Monthly factory cost analysis; prepare and present manufacturing review deck to local and regional team as per defined timeline and guidance.
  • Participate in the Plant optimization activities and lead Zero Loss Analysis in the plant.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly cost meetings and provide data to Manufacturing team during month for review and better control. Review all Cost and Capital requisition before release to control cost.
  • Close control of the cost in line with the budget to help Manufacturing Team deliver as per target.
  • Responsible for Factory Operating Committee (FOC) matters. 100% participation in all factory related activities as FOC member.
  • Support manufacturing team in identifying the cost reduction and cost control and other areas of opportunities.
  • Prepare interco sales price (Vprice) as per policy and guidelines.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis, support during CBA negotiation, support to Financial Planning & Analysis dept for capex proposal evaluation.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors for internal audit within the plant scope.
  • Support to Controlling team as and when required.

Required Experience:


  • Minimum 12 years' working within manufacturing location with complete understanding of the Factory Accounting with standard costing guidelines in Managerial capacity.
  • Besides Local GAAP Accounting and Cost Accounting guidelines, exposure to US-GAAP will be beneficial.
  • Inter departmental communication skills, understanding of general day to day interdepartmental MIS requirement pertaining to daily, monthly, and yearly cost and accounting is must.
  • Understanding of Annual Operating Plans, Sales plan, manufacturing Cost, purchase and supply chain operations and their linkage to Factory Production and Factory Cost is essential.
  • Knowledge of Methodology of Product Cost calculation, analysis, margin, variance analysis and Cost Audit Report Compliance.
  • Active involvement in the cost saving projects.
  • Building a high performing team, developing new associates as per the Company's guidelines.
  • A Commerce graduate with Professional Qualification lICWAI or CA
