Boeing India is currently looking for an
Experienced Scrum Master
to join their team in Chennai, TN
. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.


Position Responsibilities**:

  • Ensures that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible.
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
  • Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
  • Understanding product planning in an empirical environment.
  • Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
  • Understanding and practicing agility.
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
  • Coaching the Development Team in selforganization and crossfunctionality.
  • Helping the Development Team to create highvalue products.
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team's progress.
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
  • Coaching the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.
  • Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption.
  • Planning Scrum implementations within the organization.
  • Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development.
  • Causing change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
  • Raise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution
  • Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated
  • Executes Boeing Transformation Objectives including Product-Centric Software Engineering, Cloud migration, Agile operation, DevOps, Automation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's degree or Master degree in IT field or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Software development in a highly regulated industry
  • At least 5 years of experience working and executing with software development design patterns, methodology and life cycle as Scrum Master
  • Experience and proficiency in JIRA, ADO, GitLab
  • Handson experience run Scrum Ceremonies, capture impediments and work with management/team to get to a closure
  • Experience operating in an Agile development environment.
  • Tracks and generate Scrum completion, metrics report
