JOB DESCRIPTION - VIDEO EDITOR

Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the content team to understand program objectives and develop creative concepts for video projects.
  • Edit raw video footage into cohesive and visually compelling stories, ensuring highquality standards and meeting project deadlines.
  • Utilize motion graphics and 2D animation techniques to enhance the visual appeal and clarity of educational content.
  • Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to create an immersive audiovisual experience.
  • Manage and organize a vast library of video assets, ensuring easy access and smooth workflow for future projects.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including designers, writers, and project managers, to deliver cohesive and impactful video content.
  • Conduct video postproduction processes, including color correction, audio mastering, and final output formatting.

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in video editing, motion graphics, and 2D animation.
  • Expertise in industrystandard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects or similar.
  • Solid understanding of visual storytelling principles and ability to craft narratives through video editing.
  • Strong knowledge of video codecs, aspect ratios, and formatting for various platforms (YouTube, social media, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a crossfunctional team environment.

Salary:
₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month

Education:


  • Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

Experience:

Video Editing: 1 year (preferred)
Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (preferred)
Video Production: 1 year (preferred)
Adobe Premiere: 1 year (preferred)
Adobe After Effects: 1 year (preferred)
