Description
We are running 6500 Clients (Notebooks and Desktops) on Windows 10 Enterprise in German and English OS Languages and we are using IVANTI DSM/Heat for our Client Life Cycle Management


Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain software packages for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Review and validate software request tickets.
• Creation of installation guide in collaboration with software key user.
• Scripting of Packages for software distribution Alpha test & Documentation of any technical parts in the development process.
• Beta testing of other team members packages.
• Enduser test setup (on virtual desktops).
• Assisting 2nd/3rd level support in finding the root cause for Packagerelated problems and a possible solution.
• Performing and maintaining the distribution of all Microsoft related Security patches
• Performing and maintaining the distribution of all Client Application Security patches.
• Implementing of new driver sets for new Notebook Models and series
• Implementing new driver sets for CAD Workstations and standard Desktops

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in any IT related courses.
• 2+ years of experience in Application Packaging (with tools like SCCM)
• Deep Skills in Windows 10 in an Enterprise Active Directory Environment
• Skills in Powershell
• Skills in Windows 10 Registry, Processes, Filesystem
• Deep Understanding of MSI and EXE Packaging standards and best practices
• Problem solver with great communication skills
• Know, how to read and understand log files.
• Read and understand messages in event viewer
• Familiar with registry editor and where modifications are made when installing software.
• Thinking about user satisfaction while providing help and communicating in a way they understand
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments, learn new technologies and develop effective, efficient, and documented solutions to complex problems
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good multitasking ability, analytical and problemsolving skills independently
• Capability to manage small projects
• English fluency in writing and speaking
• Readiness to travel, if needed
