Position Overview:


As a Client Computing Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support related to client computing technologies and systems.

Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their computing needs and providing solutions to optimize their computing environments.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining client devices, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and meet the organization's requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Computing Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding their computing devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.

System Configuration and Deployments:
Collaborate with clients to assess their computing requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions. Assist with the deployment and configuration of client computing systems, ensuring compatibility and security.

Security and Compliance:
Implement security measures to protect client computing systems from unauthorized access, malware, and data breaches. Stay updated with the latest security threats and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.

Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance issues in client computing systems, such as slow performance, software conflicts, and hardware limitations. Optimize system configurations, update drivers, and recommend hardware upgrades if necessary.

Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, manuals, and knowledge base articles, to assist clients in effectively using client computing systems.

Conduct training sessions to educate clients on best practices, security measures, and system features.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for client computing devices and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, and their configuration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, and remote desktop protocols.
  • Proved experience working with Intune\SCCM
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures for client computing systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple client requests and priorities.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+,

Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
