    As a Senior AI Engineer at SmartQ, your primary role will revolve around designing, developing, and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

    In addition, your role will also include maintaining and ensuring that AI solutions comply with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and legal requirements, identifying opportunities where AI technologies can be leveraged, and much more.

    Technical Skills and ExperienceProven track record of impactful research and projects in AI, Deep Learning, NLP and CVStrong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python.

    Preferred experience range of 6-7 years as an AI practitionerExperience with machine learning frameworks & libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and possibly others (e.g., scikit-learn).Expertise in setting up AI and Gen AI Infrastructure to support development and deployment of models.

    Experience with Prompt Engineering with Large Language Models (LLMs), indicating the ability to effectively achieve complex use casesKnowledge of popular foundational models such as Llama, Falcon, OpenAI's models, Hugging Face, and Mistral.3+ years of experience with structured data manipulation using popular machine learning libraries and frameworks.

    Experience with cloud service providers and related infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, indicating familiarity with cloud-based AI solutions.

    Experience building natural language applications or systems, showcasing the ability to handle and process language data effectively.

    Expertise in working with unstructured data sources, including but not limited to RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, grounding, prompt engineering, chain-of-thought, pre-training, and fine-tuning techniques.

    Familiarity with SQL programming and SQL/NoSQL databases, indicating the ability to work with various data storage solutions.

    Familiarity with ML/GenAI platforms like Sagemaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure AI Studio, which are critical for developing, testing, and deploying AI models.

    Seeks a candidate comfortable in ambiguous situations, adept at solving complex problems, and capable of adapting to evolving project landscapes

    Scientific and Methodic Approach:

    Requires a candidate with a solid scientific background, applying rigorous, data-driven problem-solving methods, including:Hypothesis-driven development to craft and test hypotheses using data and theory.

    Iterative experimentation for continuous refinement of AI models through systematic testing and analysis.
    Evidence-based decision making, prioritizing empirical evidence in decision processes.
    Documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure effective communication and collaborative advancement within the team.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, navigating a globally distributed team.
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, crucial for interdisciplinary collaboration and presenting findings.
    Excellent problem-solving skills, showcasing the ability to navigate challenges in AI development and implementation.
