Job Role & Responsibility:

Architect, design, develop, administer, monitor and manage MySQL databases in Azure AD and On-Premise.
Develop DBA Services standards. Mentor on database standards and best practices to internal DBA's and stakeholders.
Maintain availability, stability, reliability, security and data integrity standards across database hosting environments
Ensure databases are highly scalable and deployable using configuration management tools
Provide feedback and insight on designing and scaling of SaaS and cloudbased environments and tools
Microsoft Azure Self-Managed Databases Archival, Table Optimisation, etc.
Troubleshoot and administer critical production and testing environments. Diagnose and address performance and tuning issues whenever and wherever they occur. Identify recurring issues and collaborate other teams on resolution plan.

You should be Experience in:

Microsoft Azure cloud services
Working with Unix/Linux systems including Microsoft Azure (Selfmanaged) Databases
Database architecture, design, development, implementation, and support experience
Database Archival and Table optimisation including freeing unused spaces.
Query Optimisation and Performance tuning
Handling & managing Concurrent request on DB.
Supporting multiple production, QA and development servers
Good Transact SQL skills ability to write and tune complicated stored procedures and views utilizing joins, etc
Highly transactional and highvolume database systems
HA, DR & other data replication strategies for highly available cloudbased database systems
Experience recovering databases after hardware or other catastrophic failures
Scripting using Unix shell, SQL and/or any other scripting language
Providing production operations support on client facing systems and products in a various environment.
Knowledge of standard internet/network protocols including: DNS, SSH, TCP
