We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security and Compliance Associate to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our platforms and systems.

This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, implement compliance measures, and maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security threats.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents on time.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices in software development and infrastructure.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Keep audit trails for accesses, assets, and vendors, including maintaining the access register, asset register, risk register, etc.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to security and compliance efforts.
• Do vendor security assessments to determine the security posture of third parties including reviewing their existing compliances, getting security questionnaires filled out, etc.
• Stay uptodate with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Provide security awareness training to employees and promote a culture of security within the organization.
• Support management team in answering security questionnaires for insurance purposes among others.
• Implementing and managing a companywide security platform and monitoring system such as Vanta.
• Collaborating with teams to evaluate and identify cloud solutions, modifying and improving existing systems, and educating teams on new cloud technologies and initiatives.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in the Security & Compliance domain.
• Understanding the internal auditing procedures such as SOC
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO and NIST.
• Ability to "think big" and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology.
• Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements.
• Working knowledge of various tools, opensource technologies, and cloud services.
• Experience with any of the leading monitoring and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Graffana, etc.

Salary:
₹550, ₹800,000.00 per year
