Automation Engineer focusing on M365 and Azure

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline administrative tasks across M365 and Azure platforms.
Automate the provisioning, deployment, and management of Azure resources and M365 services.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Maintain and optimize existing automation scripts for performance and scalability.
Ensure security best practices are integrated into automation processes to maintain a secure IT environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes, providing technical support and guidance.
Keep uptodate with the latest cloud technologies and automation trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
Document automation processes and maintain a repository of scripts and tools.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on M365 and Azure environments.
Expertise in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and Python.
Strong understanding of Azure services, architecture, and M365 administration.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
