    Overview:

    The LabTechnician & Assistant plays a crucial role in thelaboratory setting supporting scientific research and experiments.They are responsible for assisting with sample collectionconducting various lab tests and ensuring the smooth operation ofthe laboratory. This role is essential for providing accurate andreliable data to support research and developmentactivities.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Performing variouslaboratory tests and experiments accurately andefficiently
    • Assisting with sample collectionpreparation and analysis
    • Conducting routinemaintenance and calibration of laboratoryequipment
    • Ensuring compliance with laboratorysafety protocols and procedures
    • Documenting andorganizing test results and data
    • Assisting withinventory management and orderingsupplies
    • Collaborating with researchers andscientists on projectrequirements
    • Participating in the developmentand improvement of lab protocols andprocedures
    • Providing technical support forother laboratory staff
    • Managing and organizinglab workspace and storageareas

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in ascientific field such as biology chemistry or relateddiscipline
    • Proven experience working in alaboratory setting
    • Strong understanding of labtechniques and procedures
    • Ability to accuratelyrecord and analyze experimental data
    • Knowledgeof laboratory safety protocols and bestpractices
    • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
    • Proficiency in usinglaboratory equipment and instruments
    • Attentionto detail and strong problemsolvingabilities
    • Effective communication and teamworkskills
    • Ability to adapt to changing prioritiesand work under pressure
