Job Description
Responsibilities:
Windows Server Administration:
Hyper-V Virtualization Management:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure.
- Create and manage virtual machines (VMs), including resource allocation, networking, and storage configurations.
- Monitor and optimize VM performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Manage VM snapshots, replication, and high availability features.
- Implement backup and restore procedures for VMs.
- Ensure proper security measures and access controls for virtualized environments.
USB Access Control:
- Manage USB access control policies for AD user PCs.
- Implement blocking and unblocking mechanisms for USB ports on user PCs as per organizational policies.
- Collaborate with the security team to define USB access control policies and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and report any violations or security incidents related to USB usage.
Network Infrastructure Support:
- Assist in managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and work with networking team for resolution.
- Collaborate with network administrators for network planning and implementation.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Create reports and provide regular updates on system performance, incidents, and improvements.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and provide training to team members as needed.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and user management.
- Indepth knowledge and handson experience with Hyper-V virtualization technology.
- Proficiency in managing virtual machines, including resource allocation, networking, and storage configurations.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure components, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Solid understanding of system and network security principles.
- Experience in implementing USB access control policies for AD user PCs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chennai,
