One of the renowned and leading manufacturer in the PVC pipes and fittings industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Extrusion Head to lead their
Extrusion process to oversee and manage the plastic processing of 90000 tonn by the production of UPVC, CPVC, PVC, Conduit, Agri, ASTM, SWR pipes by ensuring seamless operations.

The person should have good presentation skills with strong expertise of Production, production planning, with strong focus on quality and maintenance adhernce for uniterpated and seemless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiency and Productivity: In this role, you will be responsible for implementing best practices to enhance overall units efficiency and productivity. By analyzing and optimizing operational processes, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our plastic processing division.

Production Planning & Execution: Developing comprehensive production plans aligned with organizational goals and executing production schedules to optimize resources are key aspects of this position. Your role involves ensuring efficient production processes to achieve maximum output while aligning with organizational objectives.

Operations Management: As the leader overseeing the overall operations, you will coordinate efforts to meet production targets. Implementation of strategies for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the plastic processing plant.

Process Improvement and SOPs: Identifying opportunities for process enhancement and establishing refined standard operating procedures (SOPs) are vital responsibilities. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, ensuring that the processes in place align with industry best practices.

Quality Assurance and Maintenance: Ensuring adherence to quality standards and certifications falls under your purview. Additionally, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities is integral to maintaining the high standards of our plastic processing division.

New Product Development: Drive and lead initiatives related to the development of new products within the plastic processing division. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market, aligning with industry trends and customer needs.

Compounding Formulation and Cost Improvement: Direct regular R&D efforts focused on compounding formulation to enhance product quality and reduce costs. Emphasize the development of lead-free pipes, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and cost-effectiveness.

Tool and Die Management: Oversee tool and die design and maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality. Your role will involve troubleshooting tool and die issues and implementing best practices to enhance the durability and efficiency of these critical components.

Cost Reduction Projects and Resource Optimization: Initiating and leading projects aimed at reducing production costs, along with optimizing resource utilization for cost-efficiency, will be integral to your role. Your expertise in managing resources will contribute to the overall financial success of our plastic processing division.

The person should have significant experience in a leadership role within the PVC pipes industry, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale plastic processing plants.

Additionally, strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, proficiency in SAP, and in-depth knowledge of extrusion processes are essential.
