Description

Responsibilities:

Conducting OET training sessions:
Delivering training sessions to individuals or groups preparing for the OET exam. This may involve teaching various language skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Developing lesson plans:
Creating lesson plans and curriculum based on the specific requirements of the OET exam. Designing materials, exercises, and practice tests to enhance the student's skills and proficiency in English for their healthcare profession.

Providing individualized feedback:
Assessing students' performance through mock tests, practice exams, and assignments. Offering personalized feedback and guidance to help students improve their English language skills and address areas of weakness.

Monitoring progress:
Tracking and evaluating students' progress throughout the course. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to ensure students achieve their desired OET scores.

Offering test-taking strategies: Familiarizing students with the format and structure of the OET exam. Providing strategies and tips to help students manage time effectively, understand instructions, and maximize their performance during the exam.

Collaborating with colleagues:

Working closely with other OET trainers and instructors to share best practices, develop teaching materials, and coordinate efforts to meet the needs of students.


Requirements:


Proficiency in English:
Demonstrating exceptional command of the English language, both written and spoken. Native-level or near-native fluency is typically required.

OET expertise:
Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the OET exam, including its format, content, and assessment criteria. Familiarity with the specific requirements of healthcare professionals in various disciplines is an advantage.

Teaching qualifications:

Holding a recognized teaching qualification such as TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a relevant teaching degree or certification.


Experience in English language training:
Prior experience teaching English as a second language or providing exam preparation courses, preferably focusing on OET. Experience in the healthcare sector is also beneficial.

Communication and interpersonal skills:
Demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students are essential.

Organizational and time management skills:
Managing multiple tasks, lesson planning, and student assessments efficiently. Meet deadlines and adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.


Salary:
₹9, ₹25,443.73 per month
