Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory and maintain equipment in clean and properly functioning state.

Accurately completes and maintain a variety of reports as required by local, state and federal regulations.
Maintains a quality assurance program that meets the requirements of the hospital.
The laboratory technician provides all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively whilst adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
The Laboratory Technician carries out fundamental tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
Calibration & quality assurance.
Record and report data from all analyses and tests in the prescribed time and form and maintain statistical records in accordance with laboratory procedures.
Prepare specimens and samples.
Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks.
Make detailed observations; analyze data and interpret results.
Write reports, summaries and protocols regarding experiments.
Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
Maintain and operate standard laboratory equipments, for example Auto Analyses (fully & semi) and other mechanisms.
Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.
Inform critical value within time period to other wards & to Lab incharge
To prepare the report within TAT.
Self prophylaxis i.e. usage of glovesand masks while performing tests is mandatory.
Performs any other duties as required or asked by the incharges.
