Job Summary
Dr.

Sheth's Skin & Hair Clinics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hair technician/ Hairstylist at our Juhu and Marine Lines Clinics.

As a Hair technician /Hairstylist, you will provide professional hair treatments to clients. Our Hair technician /Hairstylist is expected to maintain a friendly yet professional disposition with our clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Crosssell hair care products and/or services (both salon and dermatological services) to clients, when appropriate
Perform a variety of Hair care services & treatments including:
Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers
Handson experience with various colouring techniques
Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids and top knots,updo's) for both men and women
Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin, smoothening, hair botox, hair filler, etc.
Such procedures and services must be performed with technical skill and proficiency, while ensuring efficacy and compliance with safety protocols
Knowledge or willingness to learn about dermatological and trichological procedures carried out by our Doctors
Educate clients on proper hair care routines and provide product recommendations
Maintain a clean and hygienic salon space and equipment
Ensure compliance with Clinic medical guidelines, including standard SOP's
Increase Clinic revenue/collections in collaboration with other Clinic staff
Keep detailed records of client visits and treatment plans
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards clients and coworkers
Attend training sessions and keep uptodate with the latest industry trends and techniques
Follow all Clinic COVID19 protocols and other safety protocols
Comply with all Clinic policies and employee handbook

Work Hours: 10a.m. - 6p.m. Monday - Saturday, except official holidays

Skills Required:

Work experience as a hair technician, hairstylist, hairdresser, colourist or similar role
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Must be a team player and show enthusiasm towards both learning and teaching
Experience in sales is essential
Professional attitude and appearance
Calm and composed demeanour
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, including handling disgruntled clients
Excellent organizational and time management skills, including multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks
