About the RoleYour Team
This position will be part of the Auto Digital SIOP team and does not have any direct reports. This position will report to a Digital SIOP Manager
What You Will Do
- Architect, design, program, and transfer of business requirements in the areas of SAP ABAP Programming like ABAP Reporting, Dialogue programming, Forms, Workflow etc.
- Support business users daily; maintain uptodate working knowledge of business processes and systems and provide integration support to trading partners
- Responsible for writing Technical Design, Designing and Developing Solution and Testing
- Do the peer review for SIOP developments, guide junior resources, provide Endtoend support of SAP ABAP across SAP supply chain modules & ecommerce
- Lead the design and development for IBP Integration with ECC to synchronously communicate with IBP with real time integration.
- Ability to quickly learn and gear up CPI (middleware) concepts to sandwich between IBP and ECC.
- Follows & revise established methodologies during system development and ensures systems adhere to the Harman ABAP standards and procedures established by the Digital department. Develops and maintains all system related documentation.
- Minimum 9 years deep experience on ABAP development including forms; interfaces; conversions; reports; enhancements; workflow; Extractors
- Must have experience of converting functional specification to technical specification, coding, unit testing and documentation of the custom development.
- Required skills
- SAP ABAP Reporting, Dialogue programming, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, RFCs, Object Oriented ABAP, Workflow, ALE IDOC, EDI, OData, ABAP Proxy, XML based integrations etc, optimizing existing code for better performance.
- Have solid understanding of middleware like CPI, SDI, PI/PO, SOAP, File transfers
- Understanding of SAP IBP module with experience in CPI concepts will be of added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and work in multiple projects.
- Experience of developing ABAP objects for SAP-IBP is required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in SAP CPI DS in managing task and process chains.
- SAP ECC functional experience on SAP modules IBP and Ariba is a Plus.
- BI and Analytics experience
- Confluence or Jira Knowledge
- Formal Problemsolving training, certifications, or related experience
- This position requires up to 20% of travel.
- Be willing to work in Bangalore, India.
- Overtime if project deadlines dictate.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as some project management skills.
