Job Overview:

Control and instrumentation design engineering. Work includes studies, specification writing, layout development, design calculations and supervising vendor packages.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Produces instrument database from P&I diagrams.
Checks supplier drawings.
Wiring & Loop Drawings
Cable schedules & block diagrams
Supervising vendor packages
Effective management of change
Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines
Works according to company/project standards, procedures and specifications.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Experience 310 years
Education B.Tech / BE degree
Instrumentation or equivalent
Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
Is familiar with codes and standards for domestic and/or international and generally current on latest scientific and engineering methods.
Possesses a technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process.
Commercial awareness.
Handson experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
Is able to perform calculations for control valves, safety relief valves and orifices.
Is able to prepare instrument specifications / datasheets, especially for field instruments and do the related technical bid evaluations.
