    Description

    Job Responsibilities:


    • Diagnose hardware andsoftware problems (Linux and Windows OS) and replace defectivecomponents as required.
    • Setting up of Developmentsystems including OS installation and other requiredsoftware.
    • Maintain and administer networks and relatedcomputing environments including computer hardware applicationssoftware and all configurations.
    • Operate consoles tomonitor the performance of computer systems and networks and tocoordinate computer network access and use.
    • Performroutine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintaincontrol records.
    • Design configure and test computerhardware networking software and operating systemsoftware.
    • Recommend changes to improve systems andnetwork configurations and determine hardware or softwarerequirements related to such changes.
    • Confer withnetwork users about how to solve existing systemproblems.
    • Monitor network performance to determinewhether adjustments need to be made and to suggest where changeswill need to be made in the future.
    • Identify predictinterpret and evaluate system and networkrequirements.
    • Analyze Performance to determine theneed for repair or replacement.
    • Maintain logs relatedto network functions as well as maintenance and repairrecords.
    • Research new technology and implement it orrecommend its implementation.
    • Maintain an inventory ofparts for emergency repairs.
    • Coordinate with vendorsand with company personnel to facilitate purchases.
    Job Requirements:

    1. 1 to 1.5years experience in a similar role.

    • StrongCommunication Skills in English.
    • Strong knowledge ofLinux Hardware Networking and Docker.
    • Handsonexperience in Routers and Switches including VLAN and DHCPmanagement.
    • Understanding of basic network fundamentalsincluding IP Address and Subnets Ethernet WAN LAN etc.
    • Knowledge of Linux package management tools.
    • Quicklearner with a passion for upskilling and keeping up with thelatest trends in the industry.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving/ troubleshooting skills.
    • Good technicaldocumentation and communication skills
    • Experience inNetwork Firewall (Pfsense / Cyberoam / Fortigate / Untangle) Anyone firewall.
    • Preferably based in Goa.
    Additional Skills:


    • Troubleshooting Skills on Server (Mysql/Nginx).
    • Experienced with Docker environment setup.
