    PayNet is an online payment processing platform that focuses on addressing the needs of SME, eCommerce, and the growing real estate management market through its product mSociety. PayNet's key focus areas include cross-border eCommerce and housing society payments. The company aims to provide merchants with safe and simple access to accepting payments online.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer at PayNet's Mumbai location. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to back-end web development, software development. The role will involve working on PayNet's online payment processing platform and contributing to the development and maintenance of software systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate & build software solutions
    • Design client-side and server-side architecture
    • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
    • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
    • Write and document effective APIs
    • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
    • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
    • Create security and data protection settings
    • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
    • Write technical documentation

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
    • Experience developing cloud and mobile applications
    • Familiarity with common stacks
    • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript - Angular, React, , XML, jQuery)
    • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages - Python, Java, Laravel
    • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
    • Develop & deploy applications on AWS Serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, APIGateway)
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Organizational skills
    • An analytical mind

    Qualifications

    • Strong background in computer science and software development
    • BE/B.Tech preferred
