Client Billing Operations supports the end to end Billing process for the global business units within both Securities Services and Escrow Services.

These global CIB clients use Custody, Cash & Liquidity, Collateral Management, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Investment Analytics, Trust & Fiduciary, Middle Office Outsourcing, Foreign Exchange, and other products and services related to servicing assets for traditional and alternative funds.

The department is comprised of 150+ full time professionals located in Plano, TX and Manila, Philippines.

Role Description:


The Operations Senior Associate (602) for Client Billing role will manage the team in India handling daily operations of the function including managing its people and their development, handling first level of escalations, supporting its process checker functions and ensuring the team's day to day operations are at levels of expectation that meet client/customer/stakeholders.


Summary of Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop a team of about 37 FTEs from Supervisor to Individual Contributor Associate I levels
  • Monitor regular productivity, coaching to performance, providing guidance on staffing and daily volume strategy, and reinforcing adherence to policy & procedures
  • Monitor business operation KPIs ensuring SLAs are met with accuracy
  • Lead various process improvements and reengineering initiatives in line with efficiency and customer obsession efforts
  • Identify trend through data and behaviors observed and use it effectively in driving efficiencies
  • Ensure strict adherence to controls and regulatory impacting procedures
  • Report business metrics and performance to senior managers and stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership to the team and address escalations on a timely manner
  • Research and remediate processing errors to resolve and avoid delays
  • Represent the team in various internal and external to forums

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of Securities Services Business / Operations experience required
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of various Securities Services Operations products such as Custody, Fund Services, Collateral Management, Middle Office Outsourcing and etc.
  • Sound background in transactional processing
  • Strong leadership abilities selfstarter, proactive, execution/results oriented
  • Strong organizational & proven time management skills
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the global franchise to achieve functional goals
  • Effective coaching, people management and development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
