  • You enable decisionmaking through the power of data and insights
  • Provides regular and adhoc reporting as required by the business and supports the development of short and longterm plans
  • Support standardising and subsequent optimisation of core operational processes (typically billing, purchasing, forecasting etc) that support delivery of the IT portfolio of commitments
  • Detailed analysis and production of insightful operational MIS and KPI's across core functional processes to support proactive and preemptive effective management decision making
  • You produce highquality, actionable insights to deliver a holistic Digital customer view
  • Production of (including development of automated opportunities) reporting data and information in response to operational, financial, commercial and audit/ regulatory requirements across key performance lenses
  • Development and roduction of cyclical and ad hoc operational analysis and specific insight across any number of operational disciplines (planning, forecasting, performance, data modelling) to inform senior management decicion making and policy setting
  • Ensuring compliance to regulatory, audit and legal requirements typically including purchasing, vendor/supplier commercial relationships, financial frameworks and local/national/international governance e.g. Bangalore SEZ commitments

  • Expert knowledge of BT & EE's finance, procurement and operational systems and processes to manage all data flows, inputs and outputs associated with Bangalore F&OE team responsibilities
  • Knowledge of key IT output and operational measures to be able to turn high volumes of disparate data into clear and easy to understand summaries, recommendations and insight to drive senior and operational decision making
  • Data first mindset and fully competent to manipulate disparate data and sources to provide insight and information including recognising opportunities to automate
  • Ability to challenge and think outside of traditional process and operating models blending technical, operational and commercial considerations to shape decision making and recommendation submissions
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, data modelling and experience of business/continuous improvement methodology and practices '
  • Experience you would be expected to have
  • Mandatory
  • Excellent knowledge of BT's financial and operational systems/processes, at a minimum Clarity, iBuy and Markview systems and Group Approvals processes
  • Sharepoint administration
  • Accurate and detailed data analysis and subsequent clear insight and recommendation summarisation
  • Able to confidently articulate process failures/waste hotspots and contribute to redesign and optimisation interventions including establishing permanent process and system fixes.
  • Desirable
  • Deep understanding of the IT build & run lifecycle across Technology and external vendors supporting c4,000 underlying apps and infrastructure
  • Experience of working across multifaceted opertational teams and deep knowledge of core and supporting BT/Technology operational processes
  • Contiuous improvement qualifications and/or experience such as Six Sigma, Lean etc.
