APAC Securities Services Operations continues to support the expansion and growth of our custody, fund services and trading services businesses across the region.

Through material investment in digital tooling, data analytics, platform re-engineering, visualization methods and 'skills of the future' training, the traditional 'operating model' is being fundamentally scaled to better service our client's and businesses growth requirements.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Vice President of Intelligent Automation in Sydney, the scope of role includes but not limited to:

Lead and facilitate internal stakeholder discussions and forums with clear outcomes and actions to drive a consistent strategy
Own and drive timely delivery of proof of concepts, partnering with multiple internal stakeholders
Provide reporting and communication to senior management
Review and understand business requirements, then determine feasibility of development, with one or more tools from the digital toolkit. The primary focus will be on opportunities using UiPath and Alteryx.
Undertake scripting and development of requirements in coordination with the business, with one or more tools from the digital toolkit in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk and control guidelines. This includes raising relevant requests, performing QA and UAT testing.
Undertake change management/maintenance of requests for existing builds, where required.
Ongoing coordination and communication with the business and appropriate technology teams, to ensure ontime completion of project as per requirements.
Perform rootcause analysis and provide technical troubleshooting on current and existing builds.
Partnering with teams in other locations to support development work for the APAC Securities Services Operations organization.

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in financial services or a related industry sector such as professional services, or technology providers,
Solid development experience with UiPath.
Experience with Alteryx and Tableau an advantage
Experience in articulating incubation and proof of concept ideas that demonstrate value, taking through to execution
Understanding of the Custody and Fund Services operating model preferred
Project management experience preferred.
Ability to multitask and proven problem solving capability with demonstrated ability to drive issues through to resolution
