Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment within the guest house premises throughout the night.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the guest house, including its entrances, corridors and common areas.
  • Check and verify the identification of employees and visitors during the night hours.
  • Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, disturbances and take appropriate actions as per standard operating procedures.
  • Report any security breaches, incidents or damages to the designated authorities and follow proper reporting procedures.
  • Collaborate with the day shift security team to ensure a smooth transition and exchange of information.
  • Provide assistance to employees in case of any inquiries & requests during the night shift.
  • Comply with company policies and regulations, ensuring adherence to security protocols and safety measures.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance security knowledge and skills.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a security guard, preferably in a hospitality or guest house environment.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks or breaches.
  • Physical fitness and ability to conduct regular patrols and handle emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and basic security equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact witt employees and team members.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Being legally eligible to work as a security guard and possessing any required licenses or certifications is preferable

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience working in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • First Aid or CPR certification.
