The JLL Technologies Software Engineering team aims to bring successful technology-based products to market in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop data models that represent the data requirements and align with business needs.
Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and adherence to data modeling standards.

Optimize data models and database structures to enhance data retrieval and processing performance, considering query performance and data access patterns.

Analyze and profile data to identify insights, patterns, and relationships that inform data modeling decisions and drive data quality improvements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements.
Design and develop enterprise business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot, identify and fix data issues in production and non-production environments.

Create and maintain data model documentation, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data dictionary, and metadata, to facilitate understanding and communication across teams.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous learning within the data team.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline data integration and reporting workflows.

Experience & Education
Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and perform query optimization.
Experience in dimensional modeling concepts for data warehousing and understanding of star schema and snowflake schema designs.
Hands-on experience with data profiling and data analysis techniques to assess data quality and identify inconsistencies or anomalies.
Cloud experience with AWS.
Proficiency in at least one Business Intelligence tool (Sisense BI, QuickSight, Power BI, QlikView or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex business requirements into well-designed data models.
Ability to understand and analyze business processes and data requirements to design accurate and efficient data models.
Detail-oriented mindset and a focus on data quality and integrity.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical staff.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript) for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
