JOB DESCRIPTION
- Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
- Interpret diagnostic test results for deviation s from normal and inform supervising physician
- Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including heath history, progress notes and results of physical examination and ensure that supervising physician approves the same
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as xray, ECG and laboratory tests under the direction of supervising physician.
- Assist supervising physician in prescribing medications or therapy. Physician assistants are not authorized to sign these prescriptions. Supervising physician should sign and take entire responsibility for the prescription.
- Assist therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care and infection management.
- Assist counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens.
- Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures.
- Responsible for closed record compliance.
- Carryout any other job as and when assigned by the Supervising Physician and Reporting Authority.
- To participate and contribute to Departmental Quality Initiatives.
- To be aware of Department's performance and objective.
- To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules
- History taking, like present, past, family, surgical, immunization, feeding & socio economic details is collected.
- Recording current medication details.
- Recording history of allergies.
- Recording the past investigation reports undergone by the patients.
- Accompanying the Physician during their clinical rounds and documenting their findings on medical records.
- Liaisoning between physician & other care givers like nurses and technicians.
- Giving health related education & counseling for patient & family.
Job Specifications
Qualifications:
MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/ Diploma in Physician Assistant
Years of Experience:
Minimum 2-6 years of experience with reputed Hospital
Skill Set:
- Good knowledge of patient relation and administrative.
Languages required:
English, Hindi & Marathi
Salary:
₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
