Digital Marketing Assistant - Food Industry


Job Summary:

As a Digital Marketing Assistant in the Food Industry, you will play a vital role in enhancing the online presence and brand awareness of our food-related products.

Your creative thinking, strong communication skills, and proficiency in digital marketing strategies will contribute to driving customer engagement, increasing sales, and promoting our brand in the digital landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


Social Media Management:
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and mentions of our brand, responding promptly and appropriately.
Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote new products, seasonal offerings, and special events.


Content Creation:
Produce high-quality and compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for blog posts, infographics, videos, and more.
Collaborate with design and photography teams to create visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity.


Search Engine Optimization (SEO):Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive relevant traffic.
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content creation and optimization.


Digital Advertising:
Support the execution of digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.), including ad creation, targeting, and monitoring.
Monitor and analyze ad performance metrics to refine strategies and achieve optimal ROI.


Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze website traffic, social media engagement, and other relevant KPIs using tools like Google Analytics.
Generate regular performance reports and provide insights to the marketing team.


Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing practices in the food sector.
Use market insights to propose innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and strategies.


Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, content creators, and other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Demonstrated passion for the food industry and understanding of its trends.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing or related roles is a plus.
