    About the Role :

    We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our growing team In this role, you'll play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to support our organization's data-driven initiatives.

    You'll work closely with data analysts, scientists, and other engineers to ensure the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our data :

    • Design and develop data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
    • Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various relational databases, primarily Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure its accuracy and consistency for downstream applications.
    • Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability to handle growing data volumes.
    • Document data pipelines and processes for clear communication and future maintenance.
    • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative learning environment.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and related fields.

    Desired Skills and Experience :

    • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries and manipulating data.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its functionalities.
    • Experience with SSIS or a similar data integration tool (preferred, but not mandatory).
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling).
    • Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g. , PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • A passion for learning and staying current with the latest data technologies.
