Job Title:
Fusion Middleware Architect


Fusion Middleware Architect with strong experience of 12-15 years in Oracle Architect and Administrator positions responsible for planning, implementing, and managing Oracle Fusion Middleware components including Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle SOA Suite, Cloud, OIC, Oracle Database and Automation.

Also, heavily involved in automation, implementing scripted monitors, alerts, etc. This position is expected to take ownership and work independently on his/her own and guiding junior DBAs.


8+ Years' experience Architecting major fusion middleware projects.

10+ Years' experience with Managing SOA Administration

12+ Years' experience with WebLogic Administration

2+ Years' experience with Oracle EBS Administration

10+ Years' experience with Exadata or Oracle RAC

5+ Years' experience infrastructure automation and scripting skills (Shell/Python/WLST)

5+ Years' experience Hudson, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

The Fusion Middleware Architect has the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in Fusion Middleware Administration for Production, Pre-production, and Development environments.
  • Strong analysis skills which include Log analysis, Thread Dumps, Heap Dumps
  • Strong performance tuning skills which include Heap tuning, WebLogic tuning, SOA/OSB tuning
  • Analysis of Thread dumps using Third party tools.
  • Performance tuning of WebLogic / Middleware / SOA
  • Strong scripting skills which include shell scripting, Ant, WLST and python for automation
  • SOA-Installation, Upgrade, HA setup and disaster recovery setup skills.
  • Security configuration and API management
  • Interface with and advise development teams that are creating and consuming Oracle Fusion base web services.
  • Instruct others on how to administer, configure and support OSB, BPEL, BAM and OEM.
  • Strong skill in integrating with different product with SOA/OSB like EBS, Unifier, OTM/GTM, Agile etc.
  • Experience in OIC migration and support on cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS).
  • Proficient with the Linux/Window operating system, specifically Oracle Linux Enterprise.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD includes Git, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hudson etc.
  • Strong experience in Automation. Forward thinking infrastructure automation and scripting skills.
  • Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Awareness of securityrelated best programming practices.
  • Experienced in initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and delivery of projects.
  • Create runbooks, standard setup guides and support documentation for operating teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide Root Cause Analysis
  • OEM Configuration for metrics in WebLogic/SOA domain
  • Ability to coordinate with various teams to automate deployment and publish enterprise level Instance/cloning strategies, to make best use of resources thereby reducing system downtime.
  • Experience in managing various large scale Oracle Middleware/ERP implementations following SDLC/Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to review current infrastructure architecture and provide guidelines/roadmaps and prepare target
