We have an opportunity with one of the biggest banking clients. Here you will join their long-term digital transformation programme as part of the Data & DevOps Team.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of problem statement, Own the technical solution, provide an end-to-end assurance that satisfies business needs, and ensuring that any developments align to the overall Banks strategy.
Define architectural software solutions for a portfolio of projects in alignment with the architectural standards of client organization.
Strong handson experience with programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, etc.
Networking, VPC, and experience with containerization and microservices, Kubernetes, multiregion support approaches to HA, DR, and Failover (Pilot light, warm standby).
AWS security solutions and services such as Guard duty, Cognito, data encryption.
Exposure to IAM, AWS organizations, bucket policies, and account setup.
Strong understanding of AWS SDK and CLI.
Provide architecture and technology leadership to delivery teams. Be the technology expert to whom that business area trusts to realise their aspirations as to how they can best drive their business forward in helping our customers.

Desirable:

Must have a proven history of multiple analytics projects on AWS.
Handson experience in advanced Data model/Data mart design.
Extensive handson experience with data management and ETL development using AWS services like Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and S3, etc.
Banking domain knowledge

Skills:

Must have

45 years of relevant experience as a Data Solutions Architect
45 years of relevant experience on the AWS cloud platform (GCP)
Strong knowledge of AWS products and services: Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Global Accelerator, Database storage solutions like Aurora, RDS, Redshift, S3, and ETL services like AWS Glue/ Databricks, etc.
Strong handson experience with programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, etc.
Networking, VPC, and experience with containerization and microservices, Kubernetes, multiregion support approaches to HA, DR, and Failover (Pilot light, warm standby).
AWS security solutions and services such as Guard duty, Cognito, and data encryption.
Exposure to IAM, AWS organizations, bucket policies, and account setup.
Strong understanding of AWS SDK and CLI.
Develop Redshift code endtoend from design, development, deployment to support.
Risk management and design associated security/controls. (Must)
Proven background liaising with senior stakeholders to influence their thinking. Stakeholder management at various forums like Domain/project meetings, and EA forums where various architects interact and challenge your design (Must).
