Chhatarpur, New Delhi
Role Description
- As a Commis, you are also expected to comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
- Accepting store deliveries are also part of the Commis I Chef duties.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
- Control food stock and food cost in his section/kitchen.
- Cook food and prepare topquality menu items in a timely manner.
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
- Commis I Chef are also required to ensure that all stocks are well maintained.
- Ensure the quality of the food items.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Ensure and prepare miseenplace for bakery domain.
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.
- Ensure constant innovation in bakery product preparation and presentation.
- Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
- To assist chef with chopping, packing and helping/learning with dishes.
- Need to be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times as and when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certificate a plus
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen of at least 12 years
- A passion for baking and a desire to learn and improve
Salary:
₹11, ₹20,000.00 per month
