The Job Function will require the Editor to do the following:

Prepare a content plan for the magazine along with the publisher.
Coordinate with the Global Editor in UK to source articles and follow the required editorial guidelines.
Research and plan new articles
Meet the relevant Doctor and Industry community to gain insights and understand the Aesthetic Medicine trends in India and Globally.
Liaise with team members (writers and designers) ensuring publishing deadlines are met.

Write and edit pieces including interviews with Doctors and Industry stake holders.

Proofread and check articles for accuracy
Suggest possible sources and improvements for pieces
Choose supporting material, like images and illustrations
Research industryrelated topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
Prepare wellstructured drafts using Content Management Systems
Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Update website content as needed
Strategize the content plan in line with business & marketing objectives
For the annual Aesthetic Medicine Conference, prepare the conference agenda, identify and source speakers.

Skills

Excellent computer and social media management skills:
Being proficient in word-processing programs and editing tools; and
Being able to manage the basic social media platforms.
Strong organizational and time management skills:
Being capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively;
Being able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fastpaced environment;
Being able to make quick and accurate decisions, especially when deadlines are approaching; and
Being versatile, flexible, and willing to work under pressure on tight deadlines.
Motivated, independent, resultoriented, and professional
