Data & Analytics CoE is a diverse team of technology enthusiast enabling our global business.

JCI has embarked on a Data strategy that focuses on establishing strong technology CoE, enterprise data management & cloud based business solutions.

Platform Administrator (Visualization / BI) is an integral part of Platform & Operations team. This role will be based out of Pune, reporting into Data & Analytics Operations Lead.


What you will do

  • Troubleshooting and resolution of issues raised by users as Support Level 3 for Power BI & Tableau
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of Gateway & Platform issues and performance monitoring
  • Administration of licensing, data source, datasets, dataflow, workspaces & reports and capacity monitoring
  • Governance on implementation of reporting and visualization standards
  • Mentor & guide technical project teams based globally on Azure platform components, Power BI, Azure analytical services & MSBI technologies
  • Governance & Audit on Premium workspaces for standards and promoting
  • Work with vendors (Microsoft, Tableau, ) on ticket creation and support cases

How you will do it

  • Work collaboratively with all levels of stakeholders
  • Champion the delivery of advanced visualization techniques both within the business and hub execution teams
  • Connect with the functional and technical leads when prioritizing the technology initiatives to support analytics & visualization
  • Implement access security (rowlevel, columnlevel, objectlevel)
  • Building solutions to monitor, trace, log and address any/all concerns in cloudbased data platform operations

What we look for

  • Bachelor of Science degree and/or Masters in Software Engineering / Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
yrs. of hands-on experience using various development methodologies to deliver robust PaaS and DaaS based analytics solutions using Azure Cloud technologies, Power BI Services, and other OLAP tools

  • Hands on expertise on Tabular/Multidimensional/Time series modeling, Power BI, and any of QlikView, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP BO, MSBI, Snowflake
  • Proven expertise of Azure Analysis Service, DAX, and Advanced Cube design techniques
  • Strong knowledge of Hadoop, MPP Data platform, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Snowflake

Technology Requirement

  • Microsoft: Azure Analysis Service, Power BI, Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Access and Security Management
  • Snowflake is a plus
  • 1 or more of MSBI, Tableau, QlikView, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects, Looker
  • DevOps: GitHub, Azure DevOps
  • Visualization design and platform management
  • Object Oriented Programing skills using Java, Python, and.
