Designation: Learning & Development Consultant

Department: Human Resources

Level: 5- I/ II

Location: Bengaluru

Job Type: Full-time role

The role of the Learning & Development Consultant involves assessing and understanding the L&D needs of the business to provide recommendations and solutions in various areas such as team development, leadership & managerial capability development, coaching/mentoring, rotation programs, technical/functional capability development, mindset-shift interventions, and digital learning adoption.

In addition to identifying business needs and collaborating with clients to propose, design, and implement L&D solutions, the Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert and coach for businesses and managers.

This position requires a deep understanding of internal and external factors influencing client needs, enabling the design, deployment, and measurement of impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective L&D consulting services to businesses and functions.
Offer thought leadership in recommending, designing, and delivering L&D solutions.
Promote digital learning adoption among employees and managers.

Program Management:

Support the delivery of L&D programs and solutions.
Consult with businesses on L&D programs, answering questions and providing guidance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify program needs and logistics.
Prepare facilitators for client engagements and activities.
Encourage the use of tools, technologies, and data insights for efficient delivery of L&D solutions.
Monitor key performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Offer facilitation in person and virtually, including conflict resolution and visioning sessions.
Collaborate with clients on learning curriculum development.
Develop and customize L&D content to meet client requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/PG degree.
12+ years of experience in L&D or relevant business roles.
Expertise in L&D methodologies, tools, technologies, and processes.
Demonstrated consulting and contracting skills for driving high performance.
Program/Project management experience.
Instructional design & content curation expertise.
Strong facilitation skills for large groups and senior management.
Excellent communication and presence.
Ability to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and reduce costs.
Aptitude for independent work and managing multiple priorities.
Business acumen and result-driven mindset.
Proven ability to build client relationships and influence stakeholders.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Certifications in relevant areas such as MBTI, StrengthsFinder, Hogan, or ICF.
Experience with digital learning platforms and virtual facilitation tools like Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
