Roles & Responsibilities
-
Bathing and Drying: Bathe dogs using appropriate shampoos and conditioners, ensuring thorough cleaning. Dry dogs using towels and grooming dryers.

Hair Cutting and Styling: Trim and style dogs' fur according to the owners' preferences, breed standards, or specific instructions.

Nail Clipping: Trim dogs' nails safely and professionally to maintain their comfort and health.

Ear Cleaning: Clean dogs' ears to prevent infections and ensure overall hygiene.

Teeth Cleaning: Provide teeth cleaning services or recommend dental care to pet owners.

Health Monitoring: Observe dogs for signs of health issues and report any concerns to pet owners.

Customer Service: Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide exceptional customer service.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each dog's grooming history, including any health concerns or special instructions from owners.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all grooming tools and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.

Perform grooming: Services on various dog breeds, adhering to breed-specific standards and client preferences.


Required Skill Set
-
Experience: Previous experience as a dog groomer is highly desirable. Knowledge of various dog breeds and their grooming requirements is a plus.

  • Proficiency in grooming techniques, including hair cutting and styling.
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a genuine love for animals.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Conduct thorough coat assessments to determine appropriate grooming techniques and recommend additional services as needed.
  • Utilize a variety of grooming tools, including but not limited to slicker brushes, combs, shears, and clippers, to achieve desired coat styles.
  • Detect and communicate any health or skin issues observed during grooming to pet owners and, if necessary, recommend veterinary care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in proper working condition.
  • Stay informed about breedspecific grooming trends and techniques to offer updated and innovative services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by consulting with pet parents in conjunction with the CRM team to understand their preferences and ensure satisfaction with grooming outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage grooming appointment schedules, ensuring timely service delivery and efficient use of time.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and stressfree environment for dogs during their grooming sessions.
  • Stay updated on DogNation's grooming policies and contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy grooming facility.
  • Uphold DogNation's commitment to providing a unique and highquality grooming experience for canine clients.

Certification: Possession of a relevant certification in dog grooming is a plus.

Working Conditions:The work environment may include exposure to barking, occasional dog behavior challenges, and physical demands associated with grooming tasks.


Pay:
₹25, ₹45,925.88 per month
