    Company Description:

    Freakins is a Mumbai-based denim wear brand that aims to provide bold and comfortable fashion for women. Started in 2021 by Shaan Shah and Puneet Sehgal, Freakins experiments with designs and materials, constantly releasing new apparel every week. With over 35+ categories and 800+ styles, Freakins offers a variety of fashion options for diverse body types and preferences. All styles are meticulously designed and manufactured in-house, and products are sold through direct-to-consumer channels and marketplaces.

    Role Description:

    This is a full-time on-site role as a Buyer at Freakins in Mumbai. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing denim wear products for the brand. This includes identifying suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Buyer will also collaborate with the design team to understand market trends and customer preferences to make informed buying decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
    • Knowledge of textile and garment manufacturing processes
    • Experience in sourcing and purchasing fashion apparel
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
    • Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences in the fashion industry
