PHR CONSULTANT IS HIRING FOR UPCOMING PROJECT CAFE FOR(NORTH EAST)
TRIPURA.
40-50 COVER CAFE WHICH WILL BE SERVING
FUSION CONTINENTAL FOOD.
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for all over kitchen day to day operations activity.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
-
Supervision:Under your guidance of the jr. Sous Chef, you may be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking techniques and adhere to food safety standards.

  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the established standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining food inventory levels, and communicate with the purchasing department to ensure sufficient stock and freshness of ingredients.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Follow proper food handling and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Kitchen Organization: Help maintain an efficient kitchen workflow by organizing workstations, equipment, and utensils.
  • Time Management: Work efficiently to meet service deadlines and manage cooking times effectively during busy periods.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure their optimal functioning.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Culinary Degree or relevant certification from a culinary school is preferred, but degree/diploma will be an advantage.
  • Experience required for the current position 9 years.
  • Prior experience working as a sr. CDP for a reputed restaurant.
  • Prior experience working in a professional kitchen or as a Line Cook is typically required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is essential.
  • Strong passion for cooking and dedication to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle highpressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
