Job Summary:
SRS is a leading research and analysis firm specializing in defense, geopolitics, and security. We provide comprehensive insights and strategic advice to government agencies, military organizations, and private sector clients around the globe. Our team consists of experts with diverse backgrounds in defense, academia, and international affairs etc.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Defense and Geopolitics Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense and geopolitics research and analysis, military service experience, or connections to relevant sectors. This individual will play a key role in conducting in-depth research, analyzing complex data, and providing actionable insights to our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research on defense and geopolitical issues, including regional conflicts, military capabilities, and security threats.
2. Analyze data from various sources, including government reports, academic journals, and open-source intelligence, etc, to identify trends and developments.
3. Develop reports, briefings, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
4. Monitor South Asian Area events and developments to provide timely analysis and
assessments. 5. Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, security studies, or a related
field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Military service experience or connections to defense and security sectors preferred. 3. Experience conducting research and analysis in defense, geopolitics, or related fields.
4. Knowledge of military operations, defense policies, and strategic challenges.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment effectively.
7. Commitment to accuracy, objectivity, and ethical conduct in research and analysis.
