What you will be doing?
The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle Cloud solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical
As a Business Development Consultant you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business.
Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce strong customer demand for Cloud solutions that are shared with sales and progress to win.
Ability to hunt for new business using all channels to market and a good knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided) and customer business priorities.
- Selling Oracle solutions
SaaS, IaaS & PaaS via phone and digital means leveraging social media platforms - Supporting programmatic and inbound campaigns to build healthy funnel of prospects/leads
- Communicating Oracle Value Proposition
- Participating in 3way solutioning calls with Sales, Pre-Sales and Customer to progress leads
- Systematically qualifying, generating, nurturing and progressing an active sales pipeline which can be readily won
What are we looking for?
- Min 35 year experience in telesales or sales environment in dynamic IT or software sales.
- Goal and numbers oriented individual.
- Communicate confidently and effectively.
- Creative & strong solution selling skills.
- Familiar with social media tools and technologies.
- Experience in managing a high volume sales pipelines.
- Experience in selling or positioning cloud solutions in SaaS, IaaS & PaaS would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with outbound telemarketing calls.
Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.
