CommVault Administrator - Netbackup - Pune - (5 to 8 yrs)

About this Team:

Works independently with only administrative supervision and the ability to overcome major obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated, or a senior peer needs to be consulted.

Wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to provide guidance to others on the database staff. Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.

What you will be doing:

Monitoring the CommVault 10 & 11 backup environment for the regular operations & Resolve L3 issues
Review backup infrastructure performance & suggest capacity & tuning requirements.
Providing support to any technical issues which may be experienced,
Work with Various teams (internally & customers) for any support needs,
Liaison with vendors for the technical issues/ escalations
Working with project management team for the implementation of the new servers in the environment & Providing the Disaster Recovery Support for the backup environment
Completes backup and recovery, data migration, storage allocation, connectivity and storage reporting requests.
Knowledge of backup tools Commvault is a must.
Works with senior peers to develop change management procedures.
May require rotating 24x5, oncall support responsibility as well as weekend support.

What you bring:

5+ years of experience in Backup technologies

Primary Skill

CommVault, Secondary
NetBackup, (Veeam can be trainable)
Awareness to ITIL framework & concepts, Excellent customer service skills & Ready to work in 24x7 environment in rotational shifts,
Develops large and/or highly complex solutions that require analysis and research.
Works on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant.
Works on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk, impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals' high level of knowledge within one or more areas of specialty.
