    • Responsibilities

    A Software Engineer delivers features for a Product in a business chain. As member of a Feature Team, he works in autonomy and in a continuous improvement approach.

    Candidate should work on all below activities related to the software development

    Guarantee best practice and quality of the code of the whole team.

    Organize and optimize/industrialize the process of development.

    Propose technical solutions.

    Participate to the construction of the technical infrastructure when needed.

    Ensures a technological watch and demonstrates an interest for the Compliance business

    Work in a team with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, pair programming, etc.)

    Collaborate with POs and Business Analysts in the user requirements division (Epics) in user's stories

    Participate in the development of the technical culture of the feature team (craftsmanship, pairing, review, etc.).

    Mentoring the team with good practices(unitary test cases) in coding and unblocking your team when they are blocked with technical challenges.

    Ensuring software craftsmanship(code coverage,code smells, API quality) and best practices are followed and adhere to those.

    Ensuring the quality of deliveries to production on time.

    Profile required


    • Require 5 plus yrs experience on Java.

    • Deep expertise and hands on experience in Core java

    • Hands-on experience with at least 4 years in Spring and Hibernate technologies.


    • Hands-on experience with at least 2 years on microservices architecture and Spring boot technologies.

    • Hands-on experience with at least 5 plus years in GUI development using JSP, HTML & JavaScript. Added advantage if worked on AngularJS,

    NodeJS, Bootstrap, jQuery.

    • Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented. Would be great if worked on Agile or Continuous Delivery (CD) based projects before.

    • Good fundamentals in Core Programming, JDBC, Object Oriented design & Design patterns

    • Should have exposure to Oracle SQL. Any other DB apart from Oracle is also fine, provided the fundamentals of RDBMS are clear. Good to have experience in writing Sqls, stored procedures and functions.

    • Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit or any other equivalent.


    • Good to have exposure in Spring Boot/ Microservices

    • Good to have exposure to Investment banking domain.


    • Good to have exposure in managing deliveries.

    Personal Skills:

    • Proven Ability to learn and work on latest technology, have good analytical skills and pickup faster.

    • Should have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and be a team player.

    • Should have been engaged on one project for at least 10 months.

    • Experience working in an onsite-offshore model would be an advantage
