    Position-89-Group HR Head

    Job Title: Group HR Head

    Location: Kolkata

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group HR Head to lead the Human Resources department across corporate office & manufacturing functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong execution muscle. They will ensure that they are able to build up the HR division as a strong contributor to overall employee well-being, engagement & happiness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Complete Ownership of HR Vertical

    · Take up responsibility and accountability of HR division, with regards to long-term strategic projects as well as short-term issues

    2. Strategic HR Leadership:

    · Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans.

    · Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.

    · Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

    3. Talent Acquisition and Management:

    · Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent for various roles within the organization.

    · Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    · Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.

    4. Employee Relations and Compliance:

    · Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies.

    · Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

    · Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to promote fairness and consistency across the organization.

    5. Compensation and Benefits Administration:

    · Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees.

    · Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive in the market.

    6. Learning and Development:

    · Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce.

    · Foster a culture of learning and development to support career progression and succession planning.

    7. Employee Engagement

    · Initiate a culture of overall employee happiness – through building an engaged employee network through extra-curricular activities, events etc

    8. HR Analytics and Reporting:

    · Utilize HR data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

    · Prepare regular reports for senior management on key HR metrics and trends.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.

    2. Proven experience (15+ year in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.)

    3. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

    4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

    5. Must have worked in a company with manufacturing set-up, preferably one that is promoter driven and family controlled.

    6. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.

    7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
