The Employee Engagement Junior Resource is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team in developing and executing employee engagement initiatives and programs aimed at improving employee morale, satisfaction, and commitment.
This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of employee engagement best practices and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs, including employee recognition and rewards, wellness programs, and other initiatives aimed at improving employee morale and satisfaction.
- Conduct research and gather data on employee engagement trends and best practices to inform program design and decisionmaking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners, to ensure the successful execution of employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide support in creating and distributing communications and promotional materials to raise awareness of employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate and assist in planning and executing employee engagement events, such as employee appreciation events, picnics, and other activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of employee engagement program activities and metrics.
- Assist in creating and maintaining an employee engagement portal, including creating and updating content, managing user access, and ensuring the portal is accessible and userfriendly.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on employee engagement program activities and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in employee engagement, human resources, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, hands on experience in Canva.
- Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and trends.
- Passion for creating positive work environments and improving employee morale and satisfaction.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fulltime position, with normal office hours Monday through Saturday (second and fourth Saturday). Some evening and weekend work may be required, particularly for events and special projects.
