Your Role and Responsibilities

As Datestage Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance.

You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Role and Responsibilities:

69 years of increasing knowledge of at least two technical skill core modules to include Operating Systems (AIX, Red Hat Linux, and Windows) and Middleware (MQ, WAS, Datastage and DB2)
Basics of automation/service refinement using principles of devops and automation.
Understand fundamentals of version upgrades and/or cloud migration.
Basics of ITIL/process knowledge (SLA's/KPI's).
Knowledge of ticketing and monitoring tool.
Knowledge of agile principles and scrum practices.
Knowledge and use of metrics and other objective measures.
Knowledge of infrastructure compliance and structures to ensure they meet industry standards
Should have demonstratable experience developing/deploying automation tools and techniques, preferably Ansible or Devops or AIOPs or Powershell.
Develop playbooks and do process refinement to streamline processes and shorten problem resolution time.
Should have a positive attitude and a growth mindset.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 2+ years in IBM DB2, DB2 HADR, DB2 Tools install, configure, and upgrade
Demonstrable experience in Support, designing, troubleshooting of above technology
Ability to articulate best practices during implementation
Proven experience in riskbased systems running on UNIX / LINUX platforms along with OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization
Demonstrated experience in handling daytoday Operation, Alert, Incident support, Migration and breakfix support
Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

This role will require you to be hands on technical.
This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be.
As this is a client facing role, there will be interaction with the clients.
Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of DB2 Database servers
Configuration and troubleshooting of DB2 HADR
Role management and User administration.
