    Job Description :

    Experience working as a business analyst across a range of business deliveries including one or more of the following areas : new products, regulatory programmes, new system implementations, integration of package solutions or business transformations.

    Experience of the full IT development lifecycle using both Agile Scrum and Waterfall approaches.

    Proficient in MS office tools including Viso, Excel and Project.

    Proficient in use of corporate wiki tools for Project Collaboration (preferably Confluence).

    Proficient in use of issue tracking software (preferably Jira).

    Help drive CPPs business objectives by identifying business requirements and process improvements to facilitate their elaboration into opportunities for functional, technical, and operational improvement.

    Act as a core member of change delivery teams, driving capability and comprehensiveness of requirements, ensuring that all potential business scenarios are explored, documented, and delivered.

    Act as the Lead Business Analysts in the business change team, across the business change portfolio of work, supporting and mentoring Business analysts as they join specific Projects.

    Ensure project development teams have sufficient requirements/user stories to deliver consistent and continuous delivery, avoiding any developer downtime.

    Work with colleagues to develop a data migration strategy within projects you are leading, ensuring that the Business understands and can make migration decisions based on a good understanding of potential migration approaches.

    Scrutinise and challenge all requests for change within projects you are leading (whether from Business or development teams), ensuring that the focus remains on delivery of the project within agreed timescales

    To champion the customer when designing new products, product improvements or operational changes across the Group in line with any cultural or legal variations whilst balancing the commercial needs of the business.

    To provide industry best practice documentation of requirements and business process improvements ensuring a consistent approach to delivery and notation across the business analysis team.

    Clarify scope and undertake analysis on strategic and tactical initiatives to support the feasibility process and enable the selection and implementation of appropriate business solutions, including supporting the business through training, live commissioning, and identification of project benefits.

    Working as part of project teams to specify and manage development or process design changes and implementation sub-workstreams, including management information, testing and user acceptance, to ensure that requirements are delivered as agreed.

    Ensure any initiatives are in line with the business strategy and either add value or aid cost reduction

    Communicate effectively to all business stakeholders across the Group including internal IT teams and external solution suppliers to ensure successful systems integration and clear documentation of end-to-end business processes (technical and non-technical).

    Encourage dialogue across all Programme teams, supporting a one team approach, whilst being sensitive to cultural differences.

    Planning and delivery responsibility for sub-work streams, as agreed with stakeholders, to support the delivery of the business solution. Group responsibility requires limited travel within the CPP Group as required to provide consultation, agree priorities, or resolve issues with the local change initiatives.

    Delivery of solution documentation and supporting information to agreed timescales.

    Ensure documentation is easily accessible, clearly articulated, and a process is in place to ensure it is updated, to support the successful implementation of business requirements and provide knowledge sharing which ensures the efficiency of future projects.

    Build and maintain networks with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence and support the delivery of projects.

    Work on a matrix basis across several projects simultaneously, prioritising workload in conjunction with project and portfolio managers.

    Responsible for the dissemination of business analysis skills across the organisation, enabling the development of local skills.

    Where appropriate provide guidance and mentoring across the business

    Participate in constructive peer review across the team.

    Act as a key contributor to the design authority, ensuring that Business needs and requirements are at the forefront of design decisions

    Champion a culture of strong internal control and risk management throughout your areas of responsibility, especially around European data protection standards including, but not limited to PCI and GDPR and their local equivalents

    Ensure that control deficiencies and risk impacts are escalated so that root cause analysis can be performed, and remedial actions taken.

    Comply with all Company policy and regulatory procedures applicable to the role.

    Report any information security incident, weakness, or malfunction Plans, manages, and investigates business situation analysis where there is significant ambiguity and complexity.

    Advises on the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis.

    Ensures holistic view adopted to identify and analyse wide-ranging problems and opportunities.

    Engages and collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including those at the management level. Gains agreement from stakeholders to conclusions and recommendations.

    Contributes to definition of organisational standards and guidelines for business situation analysis. Communicates the details of data structures and associated components to others using the data structures and associated components.

    Investigates enterprise data requirements where there is some complexity and ambiguity.

    Plans own data modelling and design activities, selecting appropriate techniques and the correct level of detail for meeting assigned objectives.

    Provides advice and guidance to others using the data structures and associated components.
