    Description

    TheTool Designer will be responsible for the design development anddocumentation of manufacturing tooling for our product line. Youwill work closely with product designers engineers andmanufacturing personnel to ensure that our products aremanufactured efficiently and to the highest qualitystandards.

    Responsibilities:

    Analyzeproduct designs and specifications to determine appropriate toolingrequirements.

    • Designand develop Jigs Fixtures & Inspection gages for variousprocesses like QC QA Production andassembly.
    • UtilizeCAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3Dmodels of toolingcomponents.
    • Performcalculations to determine appropriate tolerances clearances andmaterials fortooling.
    • Prepareand maintain all necessary documentation including drawings billsof materials and assemblyinstructions.
    • Collaboratewith manufacturing engineers and shop floor personnel to ensuresmooth productionprocesses.
    • Identifyopportunities for tooling improvement and costreduction.


    Requirements

    • PostDiploma in Tool Design from CITD NTTF or GTTC. Or B Tech inMechanicalEngineering
    • Minimumof 35 years of experience as a Tool Designer or similarrole.
    • Provenexperience in designing and developing tooling for variousmanufacturingprocesses.
    • Expertisein using CAD software for 2D and 3Dmodelling.
    • Strongunderstanding of geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing(GD&T).
    • Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingskills.
    • Strongcommunication and collaborationskills.
    • Abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
    • Attentionto detail and a commitment toquality.
