As part of our dedication to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment and discrimination, we are seeking a dedicated individual to serve as an External Member on our Internal Committee (IC) responsible for implementing and overseeing the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) policy.


Job Summary:


The External Member for IC will provide an independent and impartial perspective to ensure fair and effective handling of complaints related to sexual harassment.

This role involves participating in IC meetings, reviewing and advising on investigation reports, and contributing expertise to support the organization's efforts in preventing and addressing sexual harassment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Attend IC meetings as scheduled and contribute insights and expertise on issues related to sexual harassment prevention and response.
  • Review complaints of sexual harassment and investigation reports provided by the Internal Committee.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the IC regarding the handling of complaints and the implementation of POSH policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices in the handling of sexual harassment complaints and investigations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and awareness campaigns on sexual harassment prevention and workplace respect.
  • Collaborate with HR, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to address systemic issues related to sexual harassment prevention and response.
  • Stay informed about developments in POSH legislation, case law, and industry standards, and provide updates and recommendations to the IC as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Certification or training in Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR, legal, or a related field with expertise in sexual harassment prevention and response.
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to sexual harassment prevention and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent analytical and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to provide independent and impartial advice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Part-time


Pay:
₹1, ₹10,000.00 per day
