Your role and goals

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer to take on a crucial role in enhancing the usability and user experience of our Productsup platform. By utilizing your skills, staying abreast of the latest technologies, and collaborating with a skilled team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and evolution of our platform.

In your initial 3 months, you will:

Acquire a thorough understanding of the product's codebase and workflow processes.
Actively participate in ongoing projects to deliver tangible enhancements and advancements.
Suggest and implement upgrades to backend components or infrastructure to enhance efficiency and performance metrics.
Foster effective teamwork within the team to positively influence project outcomes and cultivate a harmonious workspace.

Within your first 6 months and beyond, you will:

Lead the implementation of new features and improvements.
Collaborate closely with the Product Team to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Identify and execute refactoring or optimization efforts in critical areas of the codebase.
Become a product expert and mentor other team members with your knowledge.

What you bring to the team

5 years of PHP work experience
Proficiency in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel or Symfony) and JS frameworks (e.g., VUE or Angular)
Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
Deep understanding of web services, command-line programs, TDD, and SOLID design principles
Experience in API-first development
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous exposure to a SaaS/startup setting is a bonus
