Qualification:
Any graduate/ Engineer/ Postgraduate in Supply Chain/ Logistics

Experience: 5 years+ experience in procurement or operations functions, ideally in a global organization. Managing procurement, handling multiple responsibilities, prioritizing, fast learner, productive, good analytical skills, stake holder management. Supporting both Fasteners & C-Parts sourcing.

In the role of Category Buyer within Siemens Gamesa, you will:

  • Implement regional/global commodity strategies into the local systems.
  • Manage ECNs: full sourcing process (RFQs, negotiations and supplier awarding) under the framework of the global/regional strategy of the commodity. Special focus on Fast Track Site Parts.
  • Support team with documentation download and with invoice approvals.
  • Be first point of contact to SCL Expediting team in the shortages' management process.
  • Support GCM & Lead Buyers in supplier management: identification of potential suppliers, supplier qualification, evaluation, etc.

We are also looking for:

  • 5 years+ experience in procurement or operations functions, ideally in a global organization.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong teamplayer with the ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to find solutions.
  • You are confident in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ideally have good SAP knowledge
  • Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken).
