Position Overview:

As a Dispatch Trainee Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of dispatching activities within the organization.

You will be responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to customers while maintaining effective communication with various teams.

This position offers an opportunity for learning and growth within the dispatch department.


Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure products/services are ready for dispatch.
Verify order accuracy, including items, quantities, and delivery addresses.


Dispatch Operations:
Assist in scheduling and assigning delivery routes to drivers.
Monitor the real-time progress of deliveries and communicate with drivers to ensure on-time arrivals.
Handle ad hoc changes to delivery schedules or routes and communicate changes effectively.


Communication:

Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding order status, delays, and any issues that may arise.

Address customer inquiries and provide timely updates on delivery times.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including order details, delivery times, and any incidents.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports summarizing dispatch performance.


Problem Resolution:
Identify and address potential issues that may affect timely deliveries, such as traffic, weather conditions, or equipment malfunctions.
Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve delivery-related problems promptly.


Quality Control:
Ensure that all products are packaged and loaded correctly, adhering to quality standards.
Conduct periodic checks to ensure deliveries meet customer expectations.


Learning and Development:
Participate in training programs to develop a comprehensive understanding of dispatch operations, company policies, and relevant tools/software.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with dispatch software/systems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies.
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license (depending on the nature of the dispatch role).

Salary:
₹10, ₹26,491.51 per month
